180 - Cancel a concurrent request in Oracle Apps

If you can not cancel a concurrent request in Oracle Apps Forms interface, you could use the following SQL to cancel the request.

* To check the request information.

SQL> select status_code, phase_code from fnd_concurrent_requests where request_id = <request ID>;

* Update the status.

SQL> update fnd_concurrent_requests set status_code='X', phase_code='C' where request_id= &request_id;

* To check the session ID and so on. If it is a backgrand process, you need to kill the session.

SQL> SELECT ses.sid,  ses.serial# FROM v$session ses, v$process pro WHERE ses.paddr = pro.addr AND pro.spid IN (SELECT oracle_process_id FROM fnd_concurrent_requests WHERE request_id = &request_id);

* Kill the session.

SQL> ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION 'sid,serial#';
SQL> ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION 'sid,serial#' IMMEDIATE;
