147 - Configure RAW Printer

lpadmin configures printer and class queues provided by CUPS. It can also be used to set the server default printer or class.

If you want to configure a printer in the Linux System, it will be very simply to execute the following command.

# lpadmin -p PRINTER-1 -v socket://192.168.10.30:9100 -L "Printer for Test" -D "Test Printer" -m raw -E

# accept PRINTER-1

# enable PRINTER-1

# lpadmin -d   (-d queue : Set the default destination for CUPS commands like lp and lpr to the specified queue)

# reject PRINTER-1

# disable PRINTER-1

# lpadmin -x PRINTER-1   (Delete PRINTER-1)
